1. 개요

본 개인정보 처리방침은 Chrome 확장 프로그램 Prompt Maker(이하 "본 확장")가 사용자의 개인정보를 어떻게 다루는지 설명합니다.

본 확장은 어떠한 개인정보도 수집하지 않으며, 외부 서버로 데이터를 전송하지 않습니다.

2. 수집하지 않는 정보

본 확장은 다음 정보를 일체 수집하거나 외부로 전송하지 않습니다:

이름, 이메일 주소 등 개인 식별 정보
방문한 웹사이트의 URL이나 이력
로그인 정보, 비밀번호, 결제 정보
위치 정보
사용자가 입력한 프롬프트 내용
사용자 행동 데이터, 통계, 분석 정보
광고 추적용 식별자

3. 로컬 저장 데이터

본 확장은 사용자의 편의를 위해 다음 데이터를 사용자의 브라우저 내부 (Chrome chrome.storage.local)에만 저장합니다:

사용자가 직접 만들고 저장한 프롬프트 (즐겨찾기 / 저장함)
UI 언어 설정 (한국어 / 영어)
모드 설정 (빠른 / 정밀)
최근 작업 상태 (탭이 닫혀도 이어서 작업할 수 있게)

이 데이터는 사용자 본인 외에는 누구도 접근할 수 없으며, 외부로 전송되지 않습니다. 사용자는 언제든지 Chrome 설정에서 본 확장의 데이터를 삭제할 수 있습니다.

4. 외부 통신

본 확장은 외부 서버와 일체의 통신을 하지 않습니다. 모든 프롬프트 생성 작업은 사용자의 브라우저 내부에서만 처리됩니다.

사용자가 생성된 프롬프트를 ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini 등 외부 AI 서비스에 직접 붙여넣어 사용하는 경우, 그 시점부터는 해당 AI 서비스의 개인정보 처리방침이 적용됩니다. 본 확장은 이 과정에 관여하지 않습니다.

5. 권한 (Permissions)

본 확장은 다음 Chrome 권한을 사용합니다:

storage: 사용자가 저장한 프롬프트와 설정을 보관하기 위해 필요합니다. 외부 전송 목적으로 사용되지 않습니다.
clipboardWrite: 완성된 프롬프트를 클립보드에 복사하기 위해 필요합니다.

6. 광고·추적

본 확장은 광고를 표시하지 않으며, 사용자 추적용 코드(Google Analytics, Mixpanel 등)를 일체 포함하지 않습니다.

7. 미성년자 정보

본 확장은 13세 미만 아동의 정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다 (수집 자체가 없음).

8. 변경

본 처리방침이 변경될 경우, 본 페이지가 업데이트되며 변경일이 갱신됩니다. 중대한 변경이 있을 경우 확장 업데이트 시 사용자에게 안내됩니다.

Privacy Policy

Prompt Maker — Chrome Extension

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how the Chrome extension Prompt Maker (the "Extension") handles user information.

The Extension does not collect any personal information and does not transmit any data to external servers.

2. Information Not Collected

The Extension does not collect or transmit any of the following:

Personally identifiable information (name, email, etc.)
URLs of visited websites or browsing history
Login credentials, passwords, payment information
Location data
Prompt content entered by the user
Usage analytics, behavior data, or telemetry
Advertising identifiers

3. Local Storage

For user convenience, the Extension stores the following data locally in your browser (Chrome's chrome.storage.local) only:

Prompts you have created and saved (favorites / library)
UI language preference (Korean / English)
Mode preference (Quick / Precise)
Recent session state (so you can resume work after closing tabs)

This data is accessible only by you and is never transmitted externally. You can delete the Extension's data anytime through Chrome's settings.

4. External Communication

The Extension does not communicate with any external server. All prompt generation happens entirely within your browser.

If you paste a generated prompt into external AI services (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.), that AI service's privacy policy applies from that point onward. The Extension is not involved in that process.

5. Permissions

The Extension uses these Chrome permissions:

storage: Required to save your prompts and settings. Not used for any external transmission.
clipboardWrite: Required to copy completed prompts to your clipboard.

6. Ads and Tracking

The Extension contains no advertisements and no user tracking code (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar).

7. Children's Information

The Extension does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (no collection at all).

8. Changes

If this policy changes, this page will be updated with a new revision date. For significant changes, users will be notified through the Extension update.
